Shelley Kristen

For the last fifteen years, Shelley has dedicated her life to music and helping others on the pathway to singing success. Shelley has been teaching a select group of students out of her recording studio, Studio 7, as well as fostering her own successful singing & songwriting career. She has coached several students to national award winning prominence.  Two of Shelley’s students have made it onto American Idol, with one student making it into the top 7.  Another student just landed the starring role on Broadway this summer as Mary Poppins... congratulations to Steffanie Leigh!

Seeing the need for a learn to sing program that would be an effective training tool for students worldwide, Shelley developed her singing lesson series on DVD & CD, entitled, "The Complete Singing Voice Lesson Series".  SingingVoiceLessons.com was birthed in the year 2001 and since then thousands of Shelley's voice training programs have been sold around the globe, with amazing result for her students.    

Shelley graduated as a vocal major from Grove School of music in Los Angeles in 1989 and studied privately with several top vocal instructors, including a Seth Riggs vocal associate. Since then, Shelley has worn many hats as a professional singer, songwriter, recording artist, worship leader, producer, engineer,  on air radio personality, and national voice over artist. She just completed her second all original CD entitled “Beautifully Ruined”.

Shelley travels internationally as a worship leader and recording artist, as well as a popular speaker and voice coach at music and worship seminars.  Shelley is married and resides in Oregon with her amazing husband (and bass player) Alan and 2 dogs Maxximus and Mazie Mae.
